Hello Class,
You must begin blogging by July 1st.
I've decided that I do not want you to begin analyzing the use of rhetorical strategies in the works of others until we've begun class. While I do want you to be able to define and recognize the differing appeals and rhetorical devices, it's a good idea to begin analyzing together in class before you do it on your own. For this reason, I've opted to eliminate assignment #3.
This leaves assignment # 1 and # 2. Regarding assignment # 2, you may stop at page 93. However, keep in mind that I will assign the remainder of the book during the first weeks of school; therefore, if you wish, you can go a little further. You will be responsible for learning all for rhetorical devices as they are vital to the course.
